Synopsis

Hôtesse de l’air, Ellen parcourt le globe tout en essayant de maintenir sa relation avec Florian,son compagnon. Les révélations dont il lui fait part font pourtant vaciller cette femme habituée à garder son aplomb en toutes circonstances. Prise de panique, Ellen s’enfuit en plein service. Elle comprend qu’elle laisse son ancienne vie derrière elle. Elle observe ceux qu’elle rencontre ou ceux qui l’accueillent, comme ce groupe de jeunes altermondialistes fâchés avec l’industrie agroalimentaire. Une nouvelle existence commence alors dans un monde à reconstruire où Ellen cherche progressivement sa place… La partition subtile du personnage d’Ellen est en effet du pain bénit pour la comédienne française, qui offre, dans un allemand impeccable, une interprétation d’une justesse saisissante, tout en retenue, vibrante d’intensité.
