Bambi

Synopsis

Bambi est née dans la banlieue d’Alger en 1935. Elle s’appelait Jean-Pierre. Contre toute attente, il s’arrache à sa terre natale pour rejoindre Paris. Il entame alors une nouvelle vie où il va pouvoir se libérer de son mal-être grâce au monde des cabarets et à ses nouveaux amis du Caroussel. Il amorce sa transformation et devient une vedette du music-hall, plus connue sous le nom de Bambi. Jean-Pierre s’appelle désormais Marie-Pierre Pruvot, elle a 77 ans et vit d’une petite retraite de l’Education Nationale. C’est elle qui nous raconte sa drôle vie.

Bambi was born in the suburbs of Algiers in 1935. Her name was Jean-Pierre. Against all odds, he tore himself away from his homeland to join Paris. Then he started a new life, where he will be able to discharge his unhappiness with the world of cabarets and his new friends from Carousel. He began his transformation and becomes a star of the music hall, known under the name of Bambi. Jean-Pierre is now called Marie-Pierre Pruvot, she is 77 years old and lives on a small pension of Education. It is she who tells her funny life.
