Synopsis

L’origine de l’image n’est pas sur les rochers peints il y a des milliers d’années, mais dans la vision du monde de ceux qui ont peint ces rochers. Anastasia Lapsui et Markku Lehmuskallio nous proposent un voyage singulier composé de 11 images, autant de tableaux construits de peintures rupestres filmées un peu partout dans le monde. « Ce film va à la rencontre de nos préoccupations ancestrales, à savoir la portée sacrée, philosophique, magique des images et des représentations des premières peintures rupestres.
