En utilisant les images de l’enterrement du poète Le Dat, sanctionné par les autorités communistes dans le procès des Cents Fleurs (Nhan Van – Giai Pham) et interdit de publication pendant 30 ans, le film interroge un problème politico-culturel de l’histoire du Vietnam contemporain, considéré encore aujourd’hui comme tabou.
Using footage from the public funeral of an important poet who was banned for decades in Vietnam, this video is connected to the political and historical situation of the country, provoking some questions still impermissible to be asked publicly in present-day Vietnam.
