Synopsis

Maggie ? Rainbow ? C’est jusque dans le prénom de leur petite fille de trois ans que Leeward et Mary n’arrivent plus à s’accorder. Mary, infirmière travailleuse, ne rêve que d’une chose : changer de vie. Elle reproche à son mari d’être un ado attardé et un père irresponsable. Leeward, musicien atypique et utopiste, se voit pour sa part comme un artiste incompris, un révolutionnaire New-Age. Lilas, jeune artiste Française de 19 ans, tente de faire ses preuves à New York et de s’émanciper d’une mère oppressante. Lorsque cette jeune fille pétillante emménage dans leur minuscule appartement de Chinatown, l’équilibre déjà fragile du couple chancelle de plus belle. AVANT-PREMIÈRE FRANÇAISE

Maggie? Rainbow? Leeward and Mary cannot even agree on their three year old daughter’s name anymore. Mary is a hardworking nurse who dreams of only one thing : changing her life around. She resents her husband for being an irresponsible, overgrown adolescent incapable of holding down a job. Leeward is an atypical, idealistic musician who fancies himself a misunderstood artist and a New Age visionary. Enter Lilas, a 19 year old French artist and daughter of a world famous painter, who’s trying to make it in New York and get away from her overbearing mother.
