For her sixth birthday, Selma receives a chicken as a birthday gift. Understanding that the animal will be killed to feed the family, Selma decides to save him and let him escape. When Selma’s mother tries to bring the chicken back, she becomes a sniper’s target. Welcome to Sarajevo, 1993.
