Thomas Koyré, photographe français, parcourt le monde à la recherche d’expériences extrêmes. Son chemin croise celui de Fouad Saleh, un homme étrange, à la mémoire défaillante. Le Français va tenter de découvrir son histoire et de tracer un bout de chemin au cœur d’un orient sulfureux et secret. Il en sortira métamorphosé à jamais…. Le personnage d’Antoine Koyré est fortement inspiré par les errances photographiques d’Antoine d’Agata.
On a journey to the Middle East, a French photographer Thomas Koyré, is in search of extreme experiences. He crosses paths with a solitary man who carries a heavy secret. He hires him as an interpreter and tries to find out more about this « lost man ». The photographer will no longer look at the world as before with the end of a journey where he separates from his dominating stance. The character of Antoine Koyré is strongly inspired by the photographic wanders of Antoine d’ Agata.
