Synopsis

Yun, une villageoise chinoise, vit tel un grain de sable, passant totalement inaperçue. Aucun homme au village ne veut l’épouser. Elle n’a pas de grand projet pour l’avenir et ne rêve pas d’une vie différente. Mais tout change quand elle aperçoit un beau jour un OVNI. Les autorités locales vont utiliser cet événement inattendu pour relancer l’activité du village, attirer touristes et industriels, dynamiser l’économie locale comme dans tant d’autres endroits en Chine. Ainsi, après avoir été un temps exclue, Yun devient du jour au lendemain un messager important pour son village.

Yun, a chinese village woman, lives like a grain of sand, completely unnoticed. No man in the village wants to marry her. She has no great plans for her future, no dreams of a different life, But when one day she sees a UFO, everything changes. The local authority uses this unexpected event to boost the village, to bring in the tourists and industry, to get the local economy roaring like in so many other places in China. Thus, Yun suddenly turns from being an outcast to being an important messenger for her village.
