Pourtant, depuis 1999, alors que trois Palestiniens à peine sortis de l’adolescence fondent le groupe DAM, il existe bel et bien un mouvement hip hop palestinien. De la bande de Gaza à la Cisjordanie, des émules de Tupac Shakur et de Public Enemy font de la musique engagée, de la musique pour informer en s’amusant, dénoncer en dansant, respirer en créant. Pendant cinq ans, la réalisatrice à suivi de près cette nouvelle génération, qui propose une alternative à la violence.

From internal checkpoints and Separation Walls to gender norms and generational differences, this is the story of young people crossing the borders that separate them.
