Après un doctorat en génie électromécanique, Asal Sharif s’intéresse au cinéma et tourne son premier court métrage à Téhéran. Avec The Wind is Blowing in the Alley, elle explore des thèmes liés à la condition féminine à travers le langage cinématographique.
After a PhD in electromechanical engineering, Asal Sharif became interested in film and made her first short film in Tehran. With The Wind is Blowing in the Alley, she explores themes related to the female condition through the language of film.
